The first edition, first state issue is with printers' union logo on copyright page, whereas the second state issue is lacking the printers' state logo on copyright page; replaced by text "Sole Distributor / RADEMAEKERS / Newark, New Jersey," Collection of 50 non-fiction stories "of historic spots, personages, and unusual industries of New Jersey." Two light finger smudges on front board with lightly frayed bottom edge; front pastedown exposed along seam, but does not effect binding, and age-toned gutters, else, no wear. Clean, tight and strong binding with no underlining, highlighting or marginalia. Yellow cloth with lettering, and state map stamped on front board, wraped around spine in blue with blue lettering, and grey top text block edge..
