Pinkie is a slow pig until he realizes he needs to become fast to be a fireman; Whitie is a young rabbit obsessed with candy until his mother lets him overdo it, which teaches him moderation. First combined edition - each was first published separately in smaller format. Hardcover, red cloth spine over full color boards. Light wear to book; jacket has a chip to the upper front panel and a small hole in the rear panel near the spine, no loss of text. Text & pictures clean; 33 pages; full color & two-color illustrations on almost every page.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Illus. by Mildred Wetmore and Pru Herric. 8½" by 11".
