A first-hand account of the formation of the Irish Citizen Army, a small paramilitary group of trade union volunteers from the Irish Transport and General Worker's Union for the defence of workers' demonstrations from the Dublin Metropolitan Police. With reference to the Dublin strike of 1913-1914, and character sketches of Larkin, Connolly, Captain White, and Madam Markiewicz. Written by P. O. Cathasaigh, an Irish writer and leading figure in the movement. In the original paper wraps. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Very Good Indeed
