About This Item
N.p.: Richard J. Beamish, 1927. Hardcover. 8vo. Blue cloth with gilt front board lettering and black rules/pictorial stamping. v, (ca. 100pp), (8pp ad + blank lined pages). Frontispiece, illustrations. Very good. Mild binding wear; tight and internally near fine. Handsome salesman's subscription copy ("dummy") of the first edition of this quickie biography cranked out just months after Lindbergh's epic May 21, 1927 landing in Paris, featuring excerpts from this circa 300pp work. None of the lined pages at the close where purchasers provide name and address have been filled in. A sharp example.
