Small Octavo. ii + 333 pp, previous owner's bookplate affixed to fr pastedown, stated First Edition, a novel in 6 titled Books, 5.4" x 7.75" black cloth boards, gilt fr cover letters VG, gilt spine letters partially rubbed. Binding firm with fr hinge just slightly shaken, pages clean, unmarked, paper VG. Text block top a bit darkened. DJ with chip at top spine 1/2" or so across, general age-darkened DJ spine. Unclipped DJ handles nicely in acetate protector. .
