London: Robert Hale. Very Good/No Jacket. 1941. First Edition. Hard Cover. 7.25" X 5" SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR and dedicated as follows: "To Tom Clarke not only because he is himself but also because he is Dennis's father" dated June 14th 1941. Signature and dedication in pencil. The author was Industrial Correspondent of the "Daily Express". Records some of the author's findings in the UK in the early years of the Second World War. 1cm split at the top of the spine, otherwise minor wear only. Occasional underlining and sidelining in pencil to the text, easily erased if wished. Weysprings Books is a Member of: the IOBA and PBFA, and subscribes to the Associations' Codes of Ethics. .
