About This Item
Marvels, dark secrets, unsuspected facts, things and places most European know nothing about. Ratazzi's unusual book covers myths, monsters, magic, runes and others from France, Germany, the Baltic and Nordic countries, to the Aegean. From Frankenstein to Da Vinci. A sort of intellectual travel guide with a filter for the unusual and mysterious.
A very good copy. Previous owner's details to title page, with further details to board under DJ flap. However both sets of details are neat and concise and not intrusive. Otherwise pages clean and bright. Cloth boards are tight and clean. DJ is unclipped and very good with just rubbing and the most minimal top edge shelf wear. All now protected in professional clear book wrapper. Illus 267pp
