Boston: Little Brown & Co., 1950. First edition stated. Signed nicely by Robert Mitchum (the actor) in blue ink on front endpaper. From his library and estate with rubber stamp to that effect at bottom of same endpaper. Tan boards have light to moderate crimping at spine ends and light bumps to two tips. Hinge good, tight and square. Price clipped jacket has $3.95 price stamped to front flap top. Jacket has 3 very small chips and edgewear along front fold. In mylar. Author's first novel. . Signed by Robert Mitchum. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/VG-. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
