Hardcover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Bound in clean chestnut brown buckram cloth, with bright, gilt titles to front board and spine, this dated 1937 hardcover First Edition is VG in VG dustjacket(unclipped). Coulourist jacket, reminiscent of Brian Cook's work for Batsford , is from a watercolour of Cavandish by F.W. Baldwin. 1X/363pp with Dedication, Preface, Introductions, 31 Sections, from Pulpits to Fonts, with 415 B/W photos and drawings of architectual features and furniture, inside Suffolk Churches. Also, colour frontis photo of Kersey Church and village, Notes on Suffolk Churches, Index and large folding map at end of The Dioceses of St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich. Signature of late owner to FFEP, Otherwise all VG. .
