Could be any one the four 1927 reprints, following the first edition in 1926 and two reprints in 1926 (Hanneman A-6). Publisher colophon to copyright page, reclining Cleon figure from jacket reproduced on title page. Last line, page 169, with "down-staris" misspelling, in lieu of "down-stairs". --- Semi-autobiographical in nature, this work tells the story of American and British expatriates in Paris as they travel to Pamplona, Spain to watch the bullfights there. --- In full black cloth-covered boards with titling on gold paper labels on cover and spine. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- The binding is slightly loose but holding together; hinges are okay. Title labels with rubbing (small holes in spine label); and with light soiling and chafing to cloth & mildly bumped lower cover corners. Leaves are just a bit yellowed, but lack markings.
