Each plate has accompanying details regarding the history of the genus, its discovery as well as size details regarding the different parts of the flower. These descriptions are written by English botanist William Bertram Turrill. The specific lilies discussed to this volume are Lilium henrici, lilium rubescens, Lilium sherriffiae, Lilium michiganese and Lilium macklinae. Condition: In original paper wraps.
