Vol.1: engr.f/piece+iv+414; Vol.2: 60+195+80+47+138+144 (separately paginated papers each with t.p. ex-pagination); no indications of provenance, tight although fr. hinges & endpapers sl.loose; extensive browning throughout (as appears usual); leather bindings clean & undamaged bar some surface scuffing (esp.back Vol.2) and normal rubbing to extremeties. Sp.labels & gilt panel rulings good. A very sound copy of this important work, which seems to be rarely found in VG condition.
