A Very Good copy of this charming first edition book, sadly lacking the dust jacket.

Original illustrated boards and endpapers with board pictures repeated on the dust jacket. The rare dust jacket remains bright and clean, with a couple of small edge nicks, a 1/4"" V chip to the top outer corner, and a minor 1/2"" round abrasion at the inner top corner, carefully retouched to same color. Still a very attractive copy in its protective archival Mylar jacket cover.
