(ca 1928 [?]); 3 x 5; 16 cards + original holder; cards printed in brown; card No. 1 with some age-toning, rest fine; text block on card No. 15 shifted, thus last two lines appear at the top of the card; very good to near fine condition. Holder illustrated; penciled-in notes to verso; minor wear to edges and corners; very good or better. An uncommon ephemeral item by the second-oldest chocolate company in the United States (after Baker's Chocolate). The envelopes with cards were issued as an advertisement and the current No. 4 contained recipes for "Ghirardelli's Divinity Fudge," "Chocolate Ginger Ale," "Chocolate Ice Cream," etc.
