Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Housed in the chipped, rubbed dustwrapper with a few small hairline tears to the edges.. Light overall signs of wear and handling commensurate with age. Head of dustwrapper spine has been neatly strengthened to rear with clear tape. Also two small tape repairs to front top of spine at folds. Neatly and carefully done. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Printed in the same year as the first impression. This book of memories and recollections mentions and expands on Frank Swinnerton's meetings and connections with some of the most eminent writers of his day.
