Decorative printed, large (28 cm high) hardcover with gold gilding on spine. Slight wear to upper edge of spine, but otherwise unmarked or faded cover. Tan slipcase shows slight wear on the top edge. No tears or bumps. Beautiful, unmarked endpapers of "Map of the Island." There are no markings or annotations in the work. The binding and pages are tight.
Synopsis
The Swiss Family Robinson is a novel, first published in 1812, about a Swiss family who are shipwrecked in the East Indies en route to Port Jackson, Australia.
