Tarzana: Edgar Rice Burroughs. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1936. First Edition. Hardcover. This is a near fine first edition copy, Heins SwM-1. Spine ends are just nudged, the red lettering on spine just a bit rubbed. The red topstain is bright, the corners are sharp. Unmarked except for a small #8 to top of fep. The unclipped first state (laminated) jacket in mylar has a bit of chipping to spine ends and a 1" closed tear near spine head, and creasing to edges. A tight, square copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
Synopsis
Swords of Mars is an Edgar Rice Burroughs science fiction novel, the eighth of his famous Barsoom series. It was first published in the magazine Blue Book Magazine as a six-part serial in the issues for November, 1934-April, 1935. The first book edition was published by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. in February, 1936.
