Octavo; pp. (x), 870 with an index to the engravings; One hundred sixteen engravings by Cruikshank and others; Three quarter navy blue morocco and blue boards, with spine labels letterd in gilt and all edges marbled; Moderate wear to the spine, some foxiing to the end papers but the book block is very good or better;. This is the 1878 reprint of the 1827 first edition; Filled with whimsey and humerous illustration by Cruikshank.
