Illustrated by the author, with his combined facsimile signature & chop to title page. / "Waysun Liao is a martial artist and author who has written several books on the practice of Tai Chi Chuan. He was born in Taiwan and began studying martial arts at a young age. He later moved to the United States and began teaching Tai Chi Chuan and other martial arts in California. Liao is best known for his book "Tai Chi Classics," which has become a widely respected and influential text on the practice of Tai Chi Chuan. The book is based on Liao's years of experience studying with Tai Chi masters in China and Taiwan, and it presents the principles and philosophy of Tai Chi in a clear and accessible way. In addition to "Tai Chi Classics," Liao has written several other books on Tai Chi Chuan, including "The Essence of T'ai Chi Ch'uan: The Literary Tradition," "T'ai Chi Classics," and "The Complete Book of Tai Chi Chuan: A Comprehensive Guide to the Principles and Practice." Liao's books are widely regarded as authoritative sources on the practice of Tai Chi Chuan and have been translated into multiple languages.
