New York: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, 2001. Reprint 1st printing. Pictorial paper over boards. VG/AN. Tasha Tudor. [32]pp.+ endpapers. Lilac and white matte finish paper covers. This is not an exact reprint of the original book. Simon & Schuster has emphasized purple throughout. The dust jacket and cover are framed in purple. There are lacy purple frames on many pages. The original calligraphic text has been replaced with a type face. Large illustrations now appear on pages without any text. Lastly, many of the illustrations on facing pages have been switched to the opposite page from the original position. Black remainder mark. Regularly $10.00.
