New York and London: Harper & Brothers Publishers Book. Good. Hardcover. Signed by Zane Grey "with author's compliments".. First edition, First Impression. 4to. "ANGLER'S ELDORADO" (1926), inscribed as follows: "To W. G. Dauncey with the author's compliments. When you mentioned half ton 'line' fish I visioned 'fisherman's' latitude, or, in other words, your veracity. Now I know you understand the truth. Thanks." "SWORDFISH AND TUNA" (1927), inscribed as follows: "With the Author's Compliments. Your appreciation of Eldorado induces the belief that this book, also, will give you pleasure. Sept. 2nd 1928". FRESH-WATER FISHING (1928), inscribed as follows: "With the Author's Compliments. May your 1929 fishing, in all waters, be successful." All books show evidence of exposure to damp, including some waviness to pages and bleeding of photographs (not affecting legibility of photos or text.) Some instances of back to back photo-pages sticking together. ANGLER'S ELDORADO has 2" tear to cloth at foot of spine. Back hinge starting with back-strip lifting away but binding still solid. FRESH-WATER FISHING with some loss of gilt to lettering, hinges starting. SWORDFISH AND TUNA with some loss of gilt to lettering. PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPHS.
