London: Alvin Redman, 1962. First UK Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. This book came from the library of the historian/author Dorothy Sutherland Melville who was interested in General Joseph Palmer. She has a note about him on the ffep and table of contents and has laid in an Boston newspaper article about him. Otherwise this book is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked. The dust jacket has edge wear and a short closed tear. It has 310, bright, clear pages. The boards are covered in blue cloth with bright, gold titles on the spine. The author has signed the ffep.
