Tales of a Grandfather 9 volumes containing series 1, 2, and 3 in 3/4 leather. Small size 6 x 4 published in 1829 by Cadell. Set belonged to Edwin Waterhouse, with a letter he received gifting the set, and his signature. Edwin Waterhouse is one of the founding partners of Price Waterhouse. Letter is folded and pasted in front space of volume 1 in very good condition.Pages clean with foxing to front space, boards show rub wear to leather spine and slight bumping, tight binding throughout, 3/4 black leather over marble boards, no dust jacket as issued
