Boards grazed, extremities rubbed, some soiling and brown spotting throughout; bookplate of Cooper's West End Circulating Library, Reading, on front pastedown and Cooper's Library in gilt at foot of spine, good. Tales of naval derring-do told by a Lieutenant to his young nephew. First published in Boston, Mass. in 1855. This edition was issued as a yellowback : see Sadleir [3639]..
