Boards in red cloth with gilt lettering on spine with large portraits on front and rear. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper and signed by him on the title page. Multiple inscriptions by ventriloquists appear on three pages near the front. Small scuff on front cover; starting crack to lower quarter of inner front hinge (binding is still firm); light handling, else fine. 151, [1] pages. Approx. 12.5 x 12.5 inches. Placed in an archival mylar sleeve. Inscribed at the 2013 Vent Haven Ventriloquists' ConVENTion by the following: - Jimmy Nelson (1928-2019) and Danny O'Day & Farfel + Jimmy's wife Betty - Jeff Dunham and the guys - Jay Johnson (of ''Soap'') and Bob - Mark Merchant and Wing Tip Shu - Buddy Big Mountain and Wendell P. Snodgrasz - Dan Horn & Orson - Mark Wade and Grits + Jody Wade - Mark Donahoe - Chris Donahoe - Julio Wong (Brazil) - Warley Santana (Brazil) - two others (signatures illegible) Features a series of 100 richly-colored, high resolution portraits in an oversized, deluxe, square format edition, accompanied by a few essays, including one by Rolston himself, as well as archival photographs of many of the figures in Rolston's portraits, and a history of the Vent Haven Museum and its collections.
