MacLeod (no first name provided) was a prolific author of educational materials during this period. In 103 pages + blackboard outline, illustrated throughout with pen-and-ink drawings around each chapter title. From 1891, this hardcover 12mo (5.5" x 7.75") has a black cloth-wrapped spine with decorative paper covering the remaining boards. Condition is just Good: very clean inside, pages moderately tanned, commensurate with age, but still supple & unmarked Scrap of a religious poem pasted to ffep. Externally, there is moderate rubbing to extremities, heavier to spine tips & corners, with paper loss.
