About This Item
Harper & Row, 1950. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. First edition. 12.25" x 5.25" Part of the "Tall Books" of Mother Goose and other stories. Features delightful color and black and white illustrations by Garth Williams. Stories by Robert Lewis Stevenson, Lewis Carroll, Katherine Mansfield and others. Dust jacket has significant wear. Faded, wears and tears and nicks along all edges, creased and worn corners, splitting from bottom of the spine edge of dust jacket. Price clipped inner flap. Yellowing to white portions of dust jacket with stains to text-block edges. NOT an ex-library copy. We've placed a clear archival jacket over original dust jacket to preserve the integrity of the DJ. Pictorial boards are a little scuffed, but in overall good condition. Shelf-wear to bottom edges and to lower spine strip. Two dings on bottom of rear board. Worn corners and lightly dented tips. Sewn binding still strong, perfectly readable. 92 pages. We will be happy to send you photos upon request.
