Corners bumped and rubbed, edges rubbed. Spine tips are bent and fraying with small tears, and spine is slightly faded from sun exposure. Gilt top page edge. Previous owner's bookplate adhered to front inside cover, and owner's name written on front free endpaper. Front hinge broken, and spine loose throughout interior. Pages clean. Book in Good+ to VG- condition.. Cloth. Good+ to Very Good-. Size: Approx. 5" x 7 1/2". Juvenile.

Light blue boards, gilt lettering and scroll work on spine, dark green/gilt/yellow/brown art deco illustration of woman and lions on front and back, 264 numbered pages. Boards rubbed along edges, lightly surface rubbed. Previous owner's inscription in ink on ffep, tissue covering frontispiece separated (3/4 inch) at top edge, title page separated (1.5 inch) at bottom edge. Cracked at page 173 but binding tight. A scattering of thumb marks and slight smudges, light foxing on pages 220-221, 227-232, otherwise pages clean. Overall, good plus.. Hard Cover. Good Plus/No DJ. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Condition is VERY GOOD ; mild edge wear, covers very clean and fresh. Spine very mildly sunned with gilt a bit dulled. Binding tight and text very clean with foxing to endpapers. Fiction. RGR.
