New Mexico map bookplate of former new Mexico senator Clindton P. Anderson. Aside fromt some minor joint and edge rubbing, a very good copy.Minutes of fifteen meetings, ranging from 4 to 15 pp. each. The Taos County Project was a visionary and far-reaching attempt to deal with the many problems of the rural Hispanic and Indian populations of Taos County. Representatives of isolated villages attended the meetings and requested help on such issues as community land grants and land loss, water problems, farming, schools, the WPA and other government programs. The meetings were very well attended by Taos community leaders, including artists such as Victor Higgins and Mrs. O. E. Berninghaus.
