Golden Square, Victoria, Australia : Crown Castleton, 1992. 256pp. B/white illustrations, plates, facsimiles, portraits and plans. Spine firm, mildly sunned, title clearly legible. Signed and dated by author on title page (August 1994), an approx. 7.5 x 2cm area of surface abrasion and partially removed sticker (previous owner's details) to upper foredge corner of title page, else leaves clean and unmarked. Illustrated card wrapper has minor soiling, edgewear and indentations, a small crease and laminate lift to lower foredge corner of front panel, and a small patch of laminate missing from upper rear foredge corner of rear panel. This scarce and comprehensive local history of the central Victorian town and district includes numerous short biographies, and an index which lists all surnames contained in the book.
