Racine, Wiconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, 1952. Abridged Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Jesse Marsh. 8vo. Whitman 2306. Bound in aqua paper covered boards, title and pictorial dipicting a gorilla in red and yellow ink to front board, also printed with 'Authorized Edition', red stain to three edges. Colour dust jacket pictorial (still birght) depics Tarzan running from a band of gorillas (depicted on rear), and is printed with 'Authorized Abridged Edition'. Book slightly cocked, with very minor spots of wear to paper at edges of boards and a little damp stain to top. Dust jacket with some wear to corners and head and heel of spine with resultant minor paper loss.

Tarzan and the Forbidden City is a novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the twentieth in his series of books about the title character Tarzan.
