Hardcover boun d in green cloth with black lettering and a design that duplicates the McClurg's first edition. Frontis illustration by J. Allen St. John. T he book conforms to all issue points listed by Zeuschner #600, includi ng a copyright page with "Cuneo-Henneberry Co. Chicago" listed. A Fair to Good copy. Rubs to the corners, the front spine seam and the head and base of the spine. Crease along the spine. Former owner's name and the date (2/14/20) are inked at the upper edge of the front flyleaf. The front hinge is exposed at the endpapers. The front page and title page are splitting from the binding at the upper 2". The interior of t he book is clean and unmarked. A decent copy lacking the scarce dust j acket. .
