In 1910 the average motorist travelled about 20 miles from home, but by the 1920s he travelled as far as he could go for the motor carhad improved. The only thing that plagued him was the condition of the roads but as time went on these also improved and this was the real beginning of motoring in Tasmania.. First Edition. Soft Cover.
