The book has a great handsome binding with green cloth covers, bright gold designs on the covers, and illustrations of telegraph lines. This old book is clean, solid and in great shape! This is a hardcover book with 286 pages.The binding is in fine condition with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean. The prior owner signed the first end paper. There are 2 pages near the end that have half inch chips at the foreedge. The green covers are Clean and in Beautiful shape. I have placed the book in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!<br>
