About This Item
London: George G. Harrap & Co, 1951. First. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good +. An early survey of television in the UK. Interestingly, the UK actually began television broadcasts before WWII, but the war effort derailed those early efforts, and it took several years after the war for the industry to establish itself.
This copy is near fine in green cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Just very slight bumping at the spine ends and very slight foxing on the edge of the last few pages are the only issues. The unclipped DJ shows some soiling and chipping at the edges and wear at the corners. PB.
