Number 26 In The Series of Limited Edition Keepsakes Issued By The Friends Of The Bancroft Library For Its Members." A fine copy, bright and clean in stiff card wraps, SIGNED BY JOAN DIDION on the title page. Quite rare signed. Contains an introduction, a copy of a corrected manuscript page, and three short stories by Didion that had not previously appeared in book form: "Coming Home" (originally published in 1967 in The Saturday Evening Post); "The Welfare Island Ferry" (originally published in 1965 in Harper's Bazaar); and "When Did Music Come This Way? Children Dear, Was It Yesterday?" (originally published in 1967 in the Denver Quarterly). A beautiful signed copy of this Didion rarity, now protected in mylar and suitable to give as a gift.
