About This Item
New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons - The Knickerbocker Press, 1898. First edition. Hardcover. Good. Green cloth hardcover with gilt titles and ornamentation. Unstated first edition as is customary of Putnam's Sons in this time period. A good plus copy with wear and bending at the corners. Deckle-cut edges are a bit flattened in some areas and the satin bookmark has been cut off leaving just a nub. Previous owner's name to the front endpaper seems to be the only writing. All plates are intact and the binding is solid. Hinges are starting with torn paper, but no lack of grip. 312 pp., indexed. A beautiful copy of this volume.
