In full maroon morocco leather binding, with raised banding and gilt lettering to spine, blind paneled boards, with gilt College crest to front. Top page edges gilt, marbled endpapers. In very good condition. Spine faded on cover, else clean and smart. Prize label to front endpaper "W.A. Ogden, Mechanical Engineering, University College London 1901-2." Some mild foxing to blank preliminary pages, one or two minor handling/thumb marks to pages, else pages and plates all very clean and tight throughout. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 455pp. Illustrated with a photo frontispiece, 4 fold-out B&W plates, and over 180 B&W figures in text.
