Hand stamped on the title page, under the main title, in small type, "Glenn E. Messer". Glenn E. Messer was an aviation pioneer who trained on a Wright bii-plane with George Gustafson; instrumental in the establishment of the Birmingham (Alabama) Airport, Messer Field; established the Southern Aircraft Corporation, which built The Air Boss..
