Stated "second printing, April 1963" on copyright page. Solid text block, touch of wear to front cover, free of any marks or notations. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $6.00 on front flap, light soiling to rear panel, chipping to edges, a very good example. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Ludwig von Mises (1881-1973) was an Austrian economist, historian, and sociologist. He was a leading economist and social philosopher of the 20th century, writing extensively on the need for laissez-faire economic policies and free market economies.
