Hardcover. 430 pp., (i)-(v), index; plus 125 Elegantiarum Centum; 32mo; full pollished brown calf; lettered & tooled in gilt; red leather spine label; raised bands forming 5 compartments with floral decoration in gilt; dentelle, marbled pastedowns & endpapers; all edges marbled; green ribbon marker. Lower edge of title a bit cropped so only the top of imprint and date show. Date, 1646 stamped on lower spine also. Self help via Cicero? .
