Navy endpapers and pastedowns. The Thirty Years' War illustrated with a folding map in color, Frederick the Great illustrated with one in-text map and two folding maps. Part of the Epochs of History series. A smart little set focused on some of the most significant conflicts in the Europe of the Middle Ages and the Baroque Period. A touch of wear to the corners, overall boards are beautiful; leaves show one contemporary name and a few scattered pencil annotations.
