Four-panel fold-out, black-and-white reproduction of "The Association Oath Roll of the Members of the London Clockmakers' Company in 1697." Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear.Tan cloth covers with gilt lettering stamped on spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, protected by a plastic coat, dust jacket not being price-clipped. 320 pp. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.

Light fading to spine. Housed in publisher's red cloth slipcase. Slipcase in Very Good minus condition, with some rubbing and shelfwear. Bookplate and matching ink gift inscription to the front pastedown. One of 350 numbered copies, this copy is number 177 and signed by Symonds. With 272 plates. Shelved case 11. Thomas Tompion was an English clockmaker, watchmaker and mechanician who is still regarded as the "Father of English Clockmaking" 1368211. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
