Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear.Tan cloth covers with gilt lettering stamped on spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, protected by a plastic coat, dust jacket not being price-clipped. 320 pp. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.

Bookplate and matching ink gift inscription to the front pastedown. One of 350 numbered copies, this copy is number 177 and signed by Symonds. With 272 plates. Shelved case 11.
