Chicago, IL: Scott, Foresman & Co., 1942. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Revised edition of 1935 first. Small BW line drawings on virtually every page by a team of eight artists. 940pp. POS to FFEP, endpapers heavily foxed, text is clean, bright, and unmarked despite yellowing to page margins and edges (the latter is soiled as well). Minor shelf wear to boards though corners are bumped and the spine is sunned, loose at top hinge, and slightly cocked. Binding is still solid and intact.
