The three scouts were chosen from the entire scout membership of 600,000 after numerous screenings and evaluation of their outdoor experience, good Scouting, and the ability to write. The book describes their meetings with native tribesmen, going on hunts with them and Mr. Johnson, seeing a multitude of animals on their numerous treks from the base camp. 1935 news clipping (New York Tribune) is laid in about the boys' reunion in NYC. A factory duplicate rear endpaper is laid-in. A clean very presentable copy.
