Werner Laurie, London, 1952. Reprint. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Grace Lodge. Black and white coloured illustrated title page and the numerous illustrations within the book have all been done by Grace Lodge. Green coloured cloth covered boards with facsimile signature of author to the lower right hand corner of the front panel, in a dark red coloured ink. Dark red coloured titles to the rear panel. This book was first published under the pseudonym "Mary Pollock". Adventure in a circus. Softening and rubbing to the back strip edges with bumping, rubbing and a little fraying of the book corners. Rubbing and bumping of the lower book edges. Rubs and some ink marks to the panels. There is a small hole 2 inches from the lower edge on the rear spine gutter. Browning and scattered foxing to the text block edges and lighter browning of the pages. Second Edition. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). [6], 7 - 96 pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
