Carroll authored the first 2 studies while the last one was translated by Carroll from the 1960 French edition "Sainte Benedict l'Africaine" by Pol de Leon Albaret OFM. Previous owner's name stamped twice on the front free end paper, otherwise clean with a tight binding and showing only very mild wear to the externals. The unclipped dust jacket has moderate wear to the edges at the spine tips and mild wear to the rest of the jacket edges. .
