About This Item
Santa Barbara: Capra Press, 1975. First edition, wrapper issue; 12mo, pp. 38, [2]; frontispiece portrait, illustrated title page; original pictorial wrappers; some uneven fading at the top of the front wrapper; all else near fine. Issued as no. 30 in the Capra Chapbook series. From the library of Allan Kornblum, poet, fine press printer, and publisher who founded Coffee House Press. This copy inscribed, "March 11, 1991. Dear Allan, I'm almost out of this one. Therefore, the already signed copy. The 'Horace' to whom it is inscribed is Horace Schuartz, who managed 'Kenneth Rexroth, Books' on Union St. (San Francisco) in the early 70s. How I got it back I don't remember. Lawrence." Underneath this inscription is the one "For Horace, this 'time-warp' parody. Larry Fixel, January, 1977."
