First published in 1914, this reprint of the 1915 new edition was printed in February 1937. Blue cloth with title in gilt on front cover and spine, and decorative image of the Grand Canyon laid onto front cover. Signed by Ellsworth Kolb and his brother Emery (who travelled with him and took many of the photographs) on reverse of the front endpaper and dated 1938. Binding sound, text clean and bright. 344pp. 76 b/w plates plus colour frontispiece..
