New York: Atheneum [1979], 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo. [8], 3-151, [1] pp. Blue cloth with silver lettering on the spine. Black endpapers and pastedowns. Price of $8.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Inscribed and dated by the author on the half-title page ("For Carolyn Bauer, With hopes that she will love everyone herein, E.L. Konigsburg in Tulsa 3/21/80"). The inscribee has written her name on the first blank leaf. A finalist for the National Book Award in 1980. A nice copy of this collection of short stories by one of the giants of children's literature. A Near Fine book with a tiny abrasion on one of the leaves from tape removal and a tiny crease to the free front endpaper in a Near Fine dust jacket with a few hints of edge wear.
